Responsible Corporate Governance
As one of Norway's largest insurance companies, we are part of Norway's emergency preparedness system that aims to help people and businesses prevent and manage risk. Good corporate governance is a prerequisite for long-term value creation for customers, owners and the society around us.
SidenavigasjonFremtind operates in accordance with the group’s objectives and strategies, supported by procedures that ensure compliance with legal requirements and ambitions related to sustainability and corporate responsibility. Our governance model is built on principles of responsible ownership, risk management, and internal control, and aligns with relevant recommendations from the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance (NUES).
We maintain clear requirements for responsible investment, procurement, and supply chain management, and report in accordance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We also publish an annual statement on due diligence assessments in line with the Norwegian Transparency Act.
Transparency Act
In our annual due diligence statements under the Norwegian Transparency Act (Åpenhetsloven), we report on supplier oversight and measures to promote fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. The scope includes the whole Fremtind group including Fremtind Livsforsikring and Hammersborggata 2 AS.
